Advantages and Disadvantages of Cyber Crime in the Philippines

A past weeks ago, Cyber crime was on every TV and Radio news in the Philippines. First, What is a Cyber Crime any way? According to Wikipedia  Cyber Crime refers to any crime that involves a computer and a network. The computer have been used in the commission of crime or it may be the target. In Cyber crime, the number one there is the hackers who hack or enter a private site or account without permission and authorized by the owner. By the Cyber Crime law it is the law who will stop those kind of crime , But if that so Why do some people int the Philippines disagreed with the law? and Why does the last be suspended?

As we talk about Cyber Crime Law in the Philippines, the law is about to stop cyber squatting  cyber sex  child pornography, identity theft, illegal access to data (hackers) and libel. Yes! it is written in there that libel is included on the law and that's the one biggest problem why this law is suspended. as you can see libel will lower down the Freedom of Speech of the people Because just a single post or comment with humiliation, insultance and rudeness is called Libel, if that so then if this law will be totally became a law then you'll be in prison in such a single post or comment. We all know that many people are using social media's like Facebook and Twitter and we all know that every minute and second there is a post coming up. And Freedom of speech are include those social media's. So what if they just express there thoughts and feelings through the social media's But, i admit some times we post something without knowing that it will hurt someone's feelings.  

That's one of the Disadvantages of Cyber Crime law. How about the Advantages of that law? here are some advantages, For me, it will prevent or stop the hackers to access the private accounts of any one, most of it was to stop the pornographic sites, to stop identity theft because as of now many people are using internet to steal money to the customers by there scam business and other crime using internet.

All i can say about Cyber Crime, it is nice to have that law because we can be far away with the hackers and pornographic sites, but having that Libel thing was not good to have it. Because Freedom of Speech of every people will be vanished. Try to be Fair to other people.
